Even a casual observer can easily tell that Paul Cavonis thoroughly enjoys the practice of law. His average day in the office begins before most people’s alarm clock starts to sound or the sun has started to rise. He began practicing law after earning his Juris Doctorate with honors at Stetson University College of Law in 1994. He is a native of Long Island, New York. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.

Paul Cavonis is the firm’s trial attorney. He handles most types of legal disputes from business-related disputes, association-related disputes and defective product issues to personal injury and wrongful death cases. While not every case will go all the way to the courtroom, he goes to great lengths to explain to his clients each step of the litigation process, including the now popular types of Alternative Dispute Resolution venues. His primary objective of “looking out for the best interest of the client” includes a careful analysis of the legal issues involved and the probability of financial recovery so the client can make an informed decision.

Paul Cavonis is member of the Florida Bar Association, the Clearwater Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

His civic involvement, includes being active for many years in the Seminole Chamber of Commerce, having previously served as President.
